First of all you also may have noticed that i've changed my name, put all of my videos on private and not have made a blog post in a long time... Its because I do not want to be associated with animaljam any more. I have quit animal jam and i'm not coming back.
Now heres some reasons why I have quit
- RARES: I have gained many rares over the past 5 years i've been playing and let me just say that getting rares is basically the point of the game but they're so overrated they're just regular items with a "rare" sticker on them (even though they aren't rare..) and most people showing off their rares such as spikes, worn blankets etc just sit around and act like they're better than everyone even though it's just a virtual wolf wearing virtual items that have no worth in real life.
-THE COMMUNITY: oh the community... my opinion of the animal jam community in one word is "horrible". I say that because 90% of these kids on this game are brats! I may be sounding rude when I say that but if you've been playing this game for 5 years or even 5 minutes I think you would know what im talking about! There's many types of people in the animal jam community so im going to have to put them into categories.. so first up is....
SCAMMERS: these people aren't the worst type of people on animal jam they just stand around saying things like "best trade for my pillow gets my spike collar!" and I dont know how ANYONE can believe that. Maybe someone really young but they should learn after the first time they've been scammed.
CRYBABIES: these are the people who have been scammed more than once and whine that people should send them gifts because they've been scammed or they find people wearing rare items and message them "can i pls have ur spike i was scammed!!111111!!11" and will usually call you mean names or report you if you don't give them anything.
REPORTERS: there are A LOT of people who act like this on animal jam and they report you for the dumbest of things like not jumping on the bunny drum...
Heres an example of when this happened to me: So I went to someones den who was advertising a plane ride and once I was there it was just (From what I can vaguely remember) the regular den with pillows lined up in rows of two and in the very front there where two pillows out of line but nobody was sitting there so I decided that I was going to sit there. A few minutes later the den owner, an orange wolf wearing an orange headdress walks up to me and sits beside me then a few more minutes another orange wolf comes in and screams "MOVE!" I replied with "Why?" then she says "BECAUSE SHE'S MY COUSIN!!!" I ignored her and didn't say a word but then the dens owner also says "MOVE THAT'S MY COUSIN!!" I know i might've been rude by not moving but nowhere in the rules said "if someone's cousin wants a seat that you're sitting in MOVE" so I pretended that i was AFK and long story short they just screamed "REPORTED!!!" "IM CRYING IRL" and junk like that....
RELIGIOUS: now I have no problem with christians, catholics etc but when they go on animal jam and say things like "CHRISTIAN IS THE ONLY REAL RELIGION" and stuff like that it honestly makes me angry and these people don't even get banned for it. Although you rarely see these types of people they're still out there...
WARRIOR CATS/ROLEPLAYERS: these people are always in sarepia forest and they're always wolves wearing fox hats and swords and they're always making clans and battling other clans and I wouldn't have a problem with them if they did not always say "dodges" after every attack even though most warriors say nn (no nothing) after they have said they're attack
Example:
Warrior 1: "Pounces on Warrior 2 and retracts claws into left eye thus blinding Warrior 2 in one eye nn"
Warrior 2: dodges.
Warrior 1: but i said no nothing...
Warrior 2: doesn't matter noob lol u dont know how to fight
Warrior 2: kills u
That's an average warrior fight for ya... also I hate it when warrior clans don't include tigers, leopards because they're cats not wolves (even though its warrior CATS not wolves)
Well this is probably my last blog post but im gonna be honest... After writing this I felt like I wanted to re-join animal jam again and create a warrior clan ( because I just made up that retracts claws into left eye thus blinding Warrior 2 in one eye thing on the spot lol ) but everything I just said was completely true and based off of experience but animal jam is such a great game I want to join again but the community totally ruined it for me and I know that there's some good people in animal jam but they are quite hard to find....
Well if anyone knows if the animal jam community is getting better please feel free to message me and I will try out animal jam again because i'm not going to log on once a week just to see if the community has changed because if that change does happen it's not gonna happen soon it may take years but most likely the communities not going anywhere.
